"Sunlit Rain"
 
~ The sky falls, past the rays of light 
that brighten the land below, the smell of
green and dirt, memories... whispers of long ago..
 
The clouds part, the land is bright, 
and what a sight! These leaves dripping with golden light..
scattered all around from yesterdays storm,
a carpet of yellow so deep , and so warm..
 
Natures beauty through life and decay,
Forever changing from then till today..
Washed away like tears in the dark..
What a beautiful day, for a walk in the park...
